Gudni Bergsson -
Colin Calderwood Played as defender (and sometimes midfielder) at Tottenham from and moved to Aston Villa in 1999 for a short time, as the first player the Villains signed from Tottenham.
Jimmy Cantrell -
Billy Cook -
Peter Crouch A Spurs Academy product, he moved away from White Hart Lane before ending up at Villa in 2002 via QPR and Portsmouth.  Costing GBP 5 million.  Two years at Villa Park saw hgim struggle to score initially, before being sent on a 3 month loan to Norwich City.  He returned to find his touch in front of goal before he was sold to Southampton for GBP2.5 million.  Returned to White Hart Lane in 2009, signed from Portsmouth and helped Spurs qualify for the Champions League and then played his part in the club reaching the quarter-final before he got sent off early in the first leg at Real Madrid, contributing to the team getting beaten 0-4. Left for Stoke City in 2011.
David Ginola Mercurial winger who thrilled Spurs fans between 1997 and 2000, but moved to Villa and soon was criticised by manager John Gregory and played sporadically after that.
Andy Gray Palace midfielder Andy Gray moved to Aston Villa in 1987 and won promotion to the First Division with the club, before re-joining the Eagles in 1989, via QPR.  Came to Spurs in 1992, but the move didn't work out particularly well for the midfielder and after going on loan to Swindon Town, he was sold to CA Marbella of Spain in 1994.  Later played for Bury, Falkirk and MIllwall
James Gray -
Steve Hodge Moved to struggling Aston Villa from Nottingham Forest in 1985, staying for 18 months and playing 53 games with 12 goals scored during his spell in claret and blue, in which the fans turned against him. A similar length of career at Spurs brought 45 appearances with a return of just 7 goals before he went back to Nottingham Forest.
Alan Hutton -
Peter Kyle -
Oyvind Leonhardsen Norwegian midfielder who starred for Tottenham from 1999-2002, before a spell at Villa which saw him fall out of favour after a change in management.
Josh Onomah A season long loan took the young midfielder to Villa Park in the Championship in 2017 and he was part of the team that took them to a losing play-off final against
Ernie Phypers An amateur with Villa from September 1932 until May 1933, when he was offered a contract with Tottenham, signing professional in June 1934.  Ernie played 28 first team league games and three in the FA Cup up to March 1937 when he joined Doncaster Rovers.  Phypers also guested for Clapton Orient, Southend United and West Ham United during the war.
Andy Ralston A First World War guest who played 100 times for Spurs between October 1915 and March 1919, was on Villa's books too.  The Scot signed as an amateur for Villa in 1902, but the war robbed him of his chances to make a career there.
Wayne Routledge Signed as a talented winger from Crystal Palace, Routledge broke an ankle on his debut and was kept out of the team by Aaron Lennon.  Loan spells at Portsmouth and Fulham followed, but he made only three appearances for Spurs, before he was sold on to Aston Villa for £1.5 million in January 2008.
Gordon Smith -
Cyril Spiers -
Kyle Walker Spurs defender spent 15 games on loan at Villa in 2011.
Frank Wilson -
Luke Young Another Spurs youth product who turned up at Villa.  Luke made his Spurs debut in 1998 and established a reputation as a solid defender, with a liking for tough tackling and over-lapping to attack on the wing.  An unused sub in Tottenham's 1999 League Cup win, he left for Charlton Athletic in 2001, where he began his England career.  A move to Middlesbrough in 2007 only lasted a year before Villa signed him for a fee of up to GBP6 million.  Made 89 appearances in three years at Villa Park, notching two goals, but was then sold to QPR for an undisclosed fee.
