Toby Alderweireld 4 An excellent signing from Atletico Madrid, Alderweireld re-formed his partnership with Vertonghen form Ajax and Belgium.  Reads the game very well and is strong in the air.  Plays a great diagonal pass and is dangerous at the other end from set-pieces. July 2021 0 (0)

Dele Alli 20 Signed in January 2015, but allowed to stay with MK Dons until the summer, Dele Alli came to Spurs and quickly made his mark in the first team, signing a new deal until 2021.  A technically gifted midfielder, who has a great engine, he has slotted into the side without any problem at all. Ben Davies 33 Looked better against Forest than against Partizan Belgrade, but Ben is still settling in to his new surroundings and he has shown good crossing ability to service the forwards. 30.06.2019 0 (0)

Mousa Dembele 19 Has looked sharper and more willing to get further forward, where he can hurt opposition defences.  Rumours that Everton might come in for him in January. 30.06.2019 0 (0)

Eric Dier 15 Hasn't done anything wrong, but has taken a back seat as Naughton played well against Forest and Arsenal, so will need to impress when he gets his chance again. 30.06.2019 0 (0)

Christian Eriksen 23 Shows his undoubted ability in flashes, but Poch seems to want to get him more involved in games.  Stuck to his task well against Arsenal and his passing helped us on the break. 30.06.2018 0 (0)

Harry Kane 10 Has done well this season in the chances he has been given by Poch.  Takes a goal pretty well and is showing a strength on the ball which helps him hold play up and bring others into play.  Put paid to rumours of contract problems by signing a new deal with the club in November. Erik Lamela 11 Another player who has shown good strength on the ball and he is willing to chase back and win it when we are not in possession.  Looks as though he would benefit from a goal as his play has been about setting up others, but has gone close with efforts of his own. 30.06.2017 0 (0)

Hugo Lloris 1 No chance with the goals against Arsenal, but his stop to deny Mertesacker's header was a world class save.  A consistent performer. 01.07.2019 - (0)

Lucas Moura 27 After a half season following hia January 2018 transfer, Lucas failed to show his true potential, but having had a good pre-season under Pochettino, the Brazilian winger has been much more effective and has scored some vital goals. July 2019 0 (0)

Georges-Kevin N'Koudou 14 Following the longest transfer saga in history, N'Koudou signed from Marseille some five weeks after having a medical.  A young, pacy and tricky winger, he adds options to Pochettino's midfield and although N'Jie had left on loan as part of the deal, it looks like Spurs have secured the services of a promising player. Davinson Sanchez 6 Fitted in very well and despite some momentary lapses in concentration, his first season, when he was thrown into the first team, proved that he can be a quick and disciplined defender.  2018-19 has been more problematical, with a couple of shaky performances and some small injuries (perhaps a result of a tough World Cup) restricting his availability. Victor Wanyama 12 Since his long time out injured in 2017-18, Victor hasn't been the imposing presence he proved in his first season, so hasn't been first choice and has suffered other niggling injuries. July 2021 0 (0)

Harry Winks 28 Young, energetic midfielder, who Tottenham have high hopes for is being introduced into the first team squad this season.  Short, but strong on the ball and in the tackle, Harry Winks could well provide good cover for those in the defensive midfield positions. July 2021 0 (0)
