What Kevin Scott said about ...
On Teddy Sheringham ...  29.12.2002 (Newcastle United programme)

ďWhen I went to Spurs later, I saw at first hand just how good Teddy Sheringham was Ė and, believe me, he was special. Heís probably one of the best people that I have ever trained and played with. Even the short pass in training was done with quality and I think a lot of people just donít realise what a hard worker he is. He was clever with it too and always held his own alongside some great strike partners, such as Jurgen Klinsmann."

On being sold by Newcastle United Ö  29.12.2002 (Newcastle United programme)

"Iíd just bought a new house and hadnít even lived in it. I got a phone call from Kevin Keegan and he said heíd had a call from Ossie and he would like me to speak to him because he was going to fetch in two centre-halves and Iís have been about fifth in the pecking order. Those two centre-halves turned out to be Darren Peacock and Philippe Albert, but I was pleased enough with the move, even though it cost me a testimonial Ė Iíd been at Newcastle nine years and three months when I left.
But at Spurs I got a knee injury early on and was out for 12 months. In that time, there was a change of manager, which didnít help and in the end, it didnít work out for me at Spurs. ."
