The London Evening Standard are still trying to wind up Tottenham fans
by telling us that Spurs and Newcastle United are said to be in
competition for Manchester City's Republic of Ireland centre half,
Richard Dunne. For once I am hoping Newcastle beat us
!! The Daily Mail reckons that despite a series of stories
that he would be staying at Selhurst Park, teenage midfielder
John Bostock is about to join Tottenham, instead of Barcelona
and Manchester United. Blackburn Rovers are set to reject
Tottenham's £4 million for their Norwegian winger Morten Gamst
Pedersen, the Sun reports.

Dimitar Berbatov's frankly tedious agent is saying that the
player is at an age when he should be playing for a team winning
things and playing Champions League football. Funny, I thought
his client won something this season and if he was so desperate for
CL football why didn't he stay in Bulgaria with CSKA Sofia ??
While the agent claims talks have broken down, the club say that he
has two years it run on his deal which is one of the best at the
club and Juande Ramos says it is down to the club to keep the
player at the Lane.
Meanwhile, Ramos is thinking about who will be his captain next
season, as he will be waiting to see what happens with Ledley King,
but appears to be ready to replace him.
