RUMOURS : -  In the Guardian, it is claimed that Spurs are to have a clear-out in the summer, with Jan Vertonghen, Christian Eriksen and Toby Alderweireld all likely to be sold if they are not willing to sign new contracts.  Other players set to leave they report are Victor Wanyama, Vincent Janssen, Georges-Kevin Nkoudou, Fernando Llorente and Michel Vorm.

RUMOURS : -   The German media claim Spurs and Internazionale are interested in signing 31 year old German Max Kruse from Werder Brmeen as he will be available on a free transfer in the summer, while the Italian press report that Tottenham have opened talks with Napoli about a transfer for midfielder Amadou Diawara.  21 year old Swansea City winger Daniel James is another player Tottenham are set to make an early move for, as well as Barcelona striker Malcom, who is also interesting Everton and Internazionale.  Leicester City's Harvey Barnes is another 21 year old Spurs are monitoring with a view to making a bid for, while Ajax playmaker Hakim Ziyech (26) is another name thrown in the hat as Spurs transfer targets who also include his team-mate Nicolas Tagliafico, who Arsenal and Atletico Madrid are also keen on.  Glasgow Celtic's 21 year old left back Kieran Tierney could also be on Tottenham's shopping list, according to the Guardian, while 21 year old Newcastle United midfielder Sean Longstaff is another Guardian suggestion for the Spurs recruitment team.  .

INTERNATIONALS : -  Christian Eriksen was in the Denmark side that drew 3-3 away to Switzerland in a Euro 2020 qualifier tonight.  Kyle Walker-Peters played in England Under-21s 1-2 defeat by Germany at Bournemouth tonight in a friendly match.  Davinson Sanchez was up against Heung-MIn Son in a friendly in South Korea this afternoon, with the home team winning 2-1, with Son grabbing the opener.  All the Spurs players completed the 90 minutes of their matches.  Juan Foyth was an unused substitute in Argentina's 1-0 away friendly win over Morocco. 

RUMOURS : - Spurs and Arsenal are both interested in Argentina international full back Nicolas Tagliafico of Ajax.  Tottenham and West Ham United London are both being linked with an interest in Torino midfielder Soualiho Meite..

INTERNATIONALS : -  Harry Kane scored once in his 83 minutes on the field for England in their 5-1 away Euro 202 qualifier win against Montenegro.  Dele Alli played 64 minutes and Danny Rose the whole game - receiving racial abuse from the Montenegrin crowd after he was given a late booking, while Kieran Trippier was on the bench but was not called upon.  Hugo Lloris was in goal for the French side who beat Iceland 4-0 in their home Euro 202 qualifying match, with Moussa Sissoko coming on as a substitute in the 90th minute.

RUMOURS : -  Spurs are again being linked with Internazionale's Croatian midfielder Ivan Perisic, while Jack Grealish is still on Tottenham's radar apparently.  Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Diogo Jota is being linked with a move to White Hart Lane.

RUMOURS : -  Leicester City defender Ben Chilwell and Barcelona's loan Portuguese midfielder Andre Gomes, currently at Everton, are both linked as potential Spurs targets in the summer transfer window.  Tottenham could contest the signing of Brentford midfielder Said Benrahma with Arsenal, with the asking price for the Algerian being GBP30 million.  Former Hartlepool United defender Luca Murphy is a free agent and the 17 year-old is interesting Middlesbrough, Mancheter United, Spurs, Sheffield United, Newcastle United and Brentford.  It is reported that a Spurs scout sent to watch Lille midfielder Boubakary Soumaré in France's Under-20 international against Argentina was astounded by the player's performance.  Juventus and Valencia are also keen on the 20 year old, who has had little chance to play in the Ligue 1 side this season.  Another youngster linked with Tottenham, this time in the Daily Telegraph, is Benfica's 19 year old forward Jota, who is also being watched by Liverpool and would cost 30 million Euros.

STADIUM : -  On 3rd April when Spurs play their first first team game at the new White Hart Lane, an opening ceremony will take place 25-30 minutes before the 19.45 kick off.  The ceremony is said to be covered by Sky Sports although there will be no live transmission of the match itself.
The Legends game against Bayern Munich has seen the latest batch of ex-Spurs players to take part.  These include Nayim, Micky Hazard, Paul Stalteri, Chris Perry, Jurgen Klinsmann, Teemu Tainio, Mark Falco, Neil Sullivan and Pascal Chimbonda.  Clive Allen will be Ossie Ardiles' assistant manager on the night.

FIRST TEAM : -  The home match against Brighton & Hove Albion has been scheduled for Tuesday 23rd April with a 19.45 kick off and it will be covered live by Sky Sports.

SEASON TICKETS : -  Spurs have announced that season ticket prices for 2019-20 will be frozen in recognition of the inconvenience of having to attend home games at Wembley from the start of this season.

RUMOURS : -  Juventus are interested in signing Christian Eriksen in the summer, rivalling Real Madrid for the Danish midfielder, while Fernando Llorente could be offered a new deal soon, although the club would accept offers for him in the close season.

STADIUM : - Following Brighton and Hove Albion's win over Millwall in the FA Cup, the first competitive game at the new stadium will be against Crystal Palace on 3rd April with a kick off time to be announced.  The home match with Brighton will now be held on 23rd or 24th April
Meanwhile, the Guardian report that Tottenham have agreed with Transport for London to rename White Hart Lane station as Tottenham Hotspur.

RUMOURS : -   Real Madrid are reported to want to sign Christian Eriksen but Tottenham are asking for GBP200 million for the Danish midfielder according to the Sunday Star, who also  say that scouts from the club have been sent to watch 19 year old Benfica striker Joao Pedro Neves Filipe.  Tottenham are plotting a GBP50 million move for Fulham left back Ryan Sessignon in the summer, the Sunday Mirror report.  .

UNDER-23s : - The U23s game at home to Blackburn Rovers will now be staged at Stevenage FC on 8th April with a 19.00 kick off.

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE : -  Spurs have been drawn against Manchester City in the quart final of the the Champions League, with the first leg to be played at White Hart Lane on Tuesday 9th April and the away leg at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday 17th April..  Should Spurs come through this stage, they will meet the winners of Juventus and Ajax in the semi-final.

RUMOURS : -  Internazionale and Uruguay defender Matias Vecino, who scored against Tottenham in the away Champions League match, is being linked with a summer GBP25 million move to White Hart Lane.  Toby Alderweireld looks likely to join Manchester United in the summer, with media reports that they are favourites to sign the Belgian defender for GBP26 million because of a clause in his contract allowing him to be sold.  It is rumoured in the Italian press that Spurs have agreed a 25 million Euro fee for Sampdoria's Danish defender Joachim Andersen.

INTERNATIONAL CALL-UPS  : -  Eric Dier, Danny Rose, Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Kieran Trippier have all been called for for the England squad to play against Czechia and Montenegro in Euro 2020 qualifiers later this month.  The Republic of Ireland  have called up Troy Parrott for their Under-21 squad to play Luxembourg in a European Championship qualifying match in Ireland on 25th March.

UNDER-19s : -  Spurs lost 0-2 to FC Porto this afternoon in Portugal and exit the UEFA Youth League because of the defeat.

TEST EVENTS : -  The Legends game against Forever Inter will feature a raft of famous former Spurs players.  Named today are Robbie Keane, Rafa van der Vaart, Darren Anderton, Stephen Car, Allan Nielsen, David Howells, Dimitar Berbatov and Erik Thorstvedt who will take to the pitch, with the team managed by Gary Mabbutt.  Other ex-Spurs are expected to be named soon.

STADIUM : -  An announcement tonight gave the dates of the Test Events at the new stadium.  Sunday 17th March (kick off 15.00; tickets GBP5) will see the Under-18s play Southampton in front of approximately 30,000 fans, followed on Sunday 24th March by a Spurs Legends match (kick off 17.30; tickets GBP10) in front of around 45,000.  Attendance will be via a ballot, with Premium members, then season ticket holders and executive members, One Hotspur + members and then One Hotspur members receiving priority to be allowed the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the stadium. 
If all goes well and the club attain a Stadium Safety Certificate, then the first scheduled game will be against Brighton and Hove Albion of Crystal Palace, depending on their FA Cup commitments.

FIRST TEAM : -  Dele Alli has been pronounced as recovered to play against Southampton on Saturday.  Harry Winks will be assessed after aggravating a groin injury in the win in Dortmund on Tuesday, while Kieran Trippier has a muscle problem, which will make him unavailable.

STADIUM : -  The Daily Mirror claims that the club will stage the first test event for the safety of the new stadium on Saturday 16th March.  The event is said to be linked to the story below about the Under-18s game.

FA : -  Mauricio Pochettino is said to be angry about the touchline ban and fine handed out to him by the FA and when the club receive the letter of decision, they could consider an appeal.

INTERNATIONAL : -  Juan Foyth has been called up for the Argentina squad for friendlies against Venezuela and Morocco later this month.

RUMOURS : -  Spurs are being linked with a move for 17 year old Southend United striker Charlie Kelman.  Italian media are rumouring that Lazio's Albanian goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha is a target for Tottenham, with the 23 year old reported to be available for GB P25.8 million.
