The Sunday Mirror claims that Tottenham are willing to wait until
the start of the summer to make Jose Mourinho their new
manager. They report that Spurs see the ex-Chelsea boss as the
man to take them the next step into the Champions League qualifying
places in the Premier League. The News of the World differ in
their opinion of who will take over when Martin Jol leaves
the club, which is the one thing the Sunday papers are all agreed
on. They think that Blackburn Rovers' manager Mark Hughes
is the new favourite within the club to replace the Dutch Head Coach
at White Hart Lane.
The Sunday Mirror carries a report that Ledley King has
suffered a set-back in his recovery from his knee surgery and will
not be fit before Christmas.
The Sunday People reckon Tottenham are eyeing
up the next young player to be produced by SCBC in the shape of
Nathan Dyer, a pacy 19 year old winger.
