Spurs were one of three Premier League clubs to have scouts at FC Porto's 1-0 victory over Tondela, believed to have been running the rule over midfielder Hector Herrera, although it could have been left back Alex Telles and the representatives have been busy, reportedly in Italy to watch Genoa's 23 year old Polish midfielder Krzysztof Piatek or it was Lazio's 23 year old midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic they were watching as his side won 4-1.  Rennes winger Ismalia Sarr has been linked, as has Sampdoria defender, Joachim Andersen - a 22 year old Dane.  Having seen interest from big European clubs push the potential asking price for Ajax pair Frenkie de Jong and Mattijs de Lijt head towards GBP100 million, they could look elsewhere in Holland, with PSV Eindhoven duo of winger Steven Bergwijn and defensive midfielder Jorrit Hendrix being equally impressive, but coming under the price tags on the heads of the Amsterdam players.
Former Spurs defender Dean Austin has been sacked by Northampton Town.

Tottenham Hotspur is 136 years old today !!
Today's leading candidate to come to White Hart Lane in January (should it be finished) is FC Porto midfielder Hector Herrera, who is 28.  It would be an odd one at 28, but he is reported to be the man to take Mousa Dembele's place, so it will almost be replacing him with a slightly younger version.  de Jong and Diawara sound more like Daniel Levy signings.
The Daily Mail is spreading bad news by stating it might be another whole season at Wembley after complaints form other Premier League clubs.  I hope they can sort out a stadium season ticket card rather than having to apply for tickets for each game.  It is killing the environment !!
