Tottenham
Hotspur have announced a turnover of £70.6million,
which is up
from £66.3 million last year. There is an operating
profit of £4.1 million after a loss of £2.7 million.
Chairman
Daniel Levy has said that the Head Coach now has to deliver on the
pitch after the club have backed him with expenditure of players to
boost the squad. The ninth place finish in the Premiership last
season was part of the reason why the club earned the money they did
last season and although the Carling Cup exit will affect cup revenue
this season, it is important for the team to have a good run in the FA
Cup and finish well in the league
