The Daily Mirror claims that Toronto FC of the MLS want
Jermain Defoe and manager and former Spurs defender
Ryan Nelsen would be willing to have him as their
designated player, who they can break their pay cap for and
he would get £90,000 a week.
In the Daily Mail, Alexandre Pato is reported as
saying that he was wanted by Spurs in the August transfer
window, but he chose to stay at Corinthians.
Former Spurs goalkeeper and co-manager Ray Clemence

after extra time in the Fourth Round of the League Cup.

Spurs have been linked with a move for FC Basle winger
Mohamed Salah, along with Liverpool, according to the
Daily Mail.
The Daily Star report that Besiktas will be interested in
signing Emmanuel Adebayor in January, but say it will
be difficult.
Apparently, in the next few weeks, there will be large
banners appearing around White Hart Lane and huge flags
introduced to be passed over the crowd to improve the
atmosphere, according to journalist Andy Brassell on
TalkSport this morning.

Apparently, the Daily Mail say that Tottenham have "secret
plans" to build a 65,000 seater stadium, which would host an
American Football franchise from the NFL in London.
This would conflict with the FA, who hope to get more money
in to pay off for Wembley by staging matches there on a

is not worried about leaving the French club if he is not

racist furore involving a comment made by England manager
Roy Hodgson at half time in the England v Poland match on
Tuesday. The manager's comments have been brushed off
by Townsend, but some anti-racist organisations are pushing

Gylfi Sigurdsson provided the assist for the goal

right winger Moses Odubajo, who has sprung to
