In the Daily Mail, they report that Aston Villa might renew

Harry Redknapp has hit back at Damien Comolli's
claims that the former Sporting Director was responsible for
Tottenham's current success. The Frenchman reckons he
was the man behind a number of the signings that are
currently in the Tottenham team, but there were also a crop
of players who were brought in, but have had made impression
on the first team at White Hart Lane.
The Sun claim that Robbie Keane might be on the move
to the American MLS with Vancouver Whitecaps (where former
Spurs Chief Executive Paul Barber is now working),
Portland Timbers or New England Revolution possible
destinations.
Former Spurs Director of Football Frank Arnesen is to
resign his post as Sporting Director at Chelsea at the end
of the season.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR TEAM NEWS : - Ledley King is
to see a specialist about his groin injury and passing him
in the other direction will be Jonathan Woodgate, who
is now back in training, as is Michael Dawson after
his knee and ankle ligament damage picked up playing for
England in August. Rafael van der Vaart is only
rated as 50-50 for Sunday's match against Liverpool after
picking up an ankle injury against Arsenal last weekend.
Tom Huddlestone (ankle), Giovani dos Santos
(groin) and Jamie O'Hara (back) are all out of the
running for consideration.
LIVERPOOL TEAM NEWS : - Liverpool will be missing Steven
Gerrard with a tight hamstring, while Joe Cole's hamstring
makes him a doubt, although he has a good chance of taking
some part in the match. Daniel Agger has a calf muscle
pull and Jay Spearing has an ankle injury.
On the TalkSport website they reveal that Diego Forlan
will pass up the chance to join Spurs in January to finish
his career with Atletico Madrid.
The Daily Mail claims that Spurs are to press ahead with
their pursuit of occupying the Olympic Stadium at Stratford
despite getting permission from the Mayor of London to
continue with the development at Northumberland Park.
TRAVEL UPDATE : - The London Underground strike goes

Mayor of London Boris Johnson gave Spurs the green light to
continue with their quest to gain planning permission to
build the new ground as part of the Northumberland Park

Vaart is a doubt for tomorrow's game against Werder
Bremen in the Champions League after getting a knock on his
ankle on Saturday. Jonathan Woodgate (groin),
Ledley King (groin), Michael Dawson (ankle)
and Jamie O'Hara (back) are all out of the game, but
Jermain Defoe will play some part and Robbie Keane
has resumed training after an ankle injury.
WERDER BREMEN TEAM NEWS : - Utility player Wesley
is out with a pulled hamstring and central defender Naldo
is also missing from the Bremen squad. This is in
addition to a long injury list including Torsten Frings,
Perti Pasanen, Claudio Pizarro, Sebastien Boenisch and
Clemens Fritz, which have required the drafting of seven
young players with little or no first team experienc einto
the travelling squad.
Harry Redknapp has told TalkSport's website that he
is not going to make a move for Real Madrid forward Karim

The London newspaper Metro has reported that Niko
Kranjcar might be on his way out of Spurs in January,
but not to Liverpool, who were due to offer £7 million, but
to Bundesliga side Hamburg.
The News of the World also report on another exit from the
Lane in January, with David Bentley being lined up as
a transfer target for former Blackburn Rovers and now Fulham
manager Mark Hughes.
The same paper claims that Harry Redknapp is keen on making
an £8 million bid for Newcastle United's Spanish defender

Watford goalkeeper Scott Loach is set to be the

The Sunday Mirror claims that Spurs may sell Peter Crouch
in January to raise funds for a new striker.
And the News of the World suggest that striker might be
Newcastle United's Andy Carroll, who would be
involved in a deal that sees Robbie Keane, David
Bentley and £10 million move North.
The NoTW also report that Harry Redknapp might move
to make transfer bids at his old club West Ham United for
defender Matthew Upson and Carlton Cole.
With the Irons doing so badly in the league, they might have

they are £6.5 million in debt after player trading, having
made a profit on other operations of £22.7 million for the
