Andre Villas-Boas has told Luka Modric to
concentrate on playing for Real Madrid rather than trying to
tempt Gareth Bale to Spain to play his football.
The former Spurs midfielder has failed to pin down a regular
place in the Real starting eleven and thinks that the Welsh
wing-back should swap London for Madrid.
TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR TEAM NEWS : - Spurs may start
Mousa Dembele and have Clint Dempsey on the
bench, as both players return to their old club Fulham.
Scott Parker's Achilles injury still rules him out,
while he is joined on the sidelines by Younes Kaboul
(knee), Benoit Assou-Ekotto (knee) and Emmanuel
Adebayor (third match of a three match suspension).
Steven Caulker should return after illness.
FULHAM TEAM NEWS : - Simon Davies will not be
fit to face his former team, as he is suffering with a hip

various offences, the Irons have banned one season ticket
holder who received a caution for what the BBC website
claims might have been a Nazi salute for life, with one other fan
also due to be punished by the East London club. West

over Mousa Dembele, who only returned to action
yesterday in the match at Lazio, but has some soreness in
his hip. Definitely out are Scott Parker
(Achilles), Benoit Assou-Ekotto (knee), Younes
Kaboul (knee) and Emmanuel Adebayor (suspension 1
of 3).
WEST HAM UNITED TEAM NEWS : - West Ham United will be
without Yossi Benayoun (knee), Ricardo Vaz Te (shoulder),
Alou Diarra (thigh) and Jack Collison (knee), but could
welcome back Matt Jarvis from a thigh strain.

The Daily Mirror reckons Spurs have failed with a £12
million offer for AS Roma winger Miralem Pjanic while
they were in Rome, the second bid that has been turned down
by the Italian club.
Also in the Mirror, they run apiece about two Spurs goalies.
Former Tottenham favourite Paul Robinson is no longer
wanted by Blackburn Rovers and may be a target for Fulham,
where manager Martin Jol has previously worked with
the ex-England keeper at Spurs. Meanwhile, Blackburn
are said to be ready to tempt Brad Friedel back to
Ewood Park.
The Sun report that Spurs are keen on buying Blackpool
midfielder Thomas Ince with Liverpool also interested
in the £10 million rated England Under-21 international.
Following the attacks in Rome on Wednesday night, two men
have been arrested and charged with attempted murder.
Both are believed to be fans of AS Roma. The Italian
FA have apologised for the attacks to the English FA and
Tottenham Hotspur while the FA have reported anti-Semitic
chanting during the game, which was also a feature of the
attack on the fans in the pub.

Tottenham drew their Europa League Group J match in Rome
with Lazio 0-0 tonight. Click

A group of Spurs fans were attacked by 40 masked and tooled
up Italians in a Rome bar late last night, with one
seriously ill after being stabbed in the head and thigh.
It is rumoured that some of those involved were fans of AS
Roma and Lazio have claimed that their fans were not
involved in the attack. MEHSTG's best wishes go to the
fans for a quick and full recovery from their injuries.
Former Spurs defender Alan Hutton has left Aston
Villa to join Nottingham Forest on loan until 2nd January
2013.
This Saturday club legend Gary Mabbutt will be signing
copies of new books "The Biography of Tottenham Hotspur" and
"Those Glory, Glory Nights", along with the updated "Spurs
Miscellany" at Waterstones in Walthamstow and Enfield. He

as new manager Mick McCarthy needs a "different type of

to be without Jake Livermore (knock), Sandro

The Independent claims that Spurs may make a move for £7
million rated Klaas-Jan Huntelaar of Schalke 04 in

Andre Villas-Boas is quoted in the Daily Mirror as
saying that the club has no intention of selling Emmanuel

Estadia.
A new organisation called the Society of Black Lawyers is
getting involved in football, believing to want to form a
black players organisation. They are saying that
players who use racist language against black players should
be banned for up to nine months and sacked by their clubs,
while issuing a demand that Tottenham Hotspur should stop
the use of the word "Yid" by their supporters by 20th
November or they will report incidents to the Metropolitan
Police as racist incidents. Tottenham issued a
statement refuting the threat of action stating that the use
of the words is not intended to offend and thus would not
fall under anti-racism legislation.

WIGAN ATHLETIC TEAM NEWS : - The Latics visit White
